I can't remember if I told all of you, but I've been on this big kick about texture. I want as much texture as I can find for my looks. This resulted in a complete breakdown trying to find a little fur evening bag. Why? Because it would be so cute. That's why.
While we were in Florida, boyfriend and I found an antique mall, a very large antique mall. I love antiques. I could spend all day in them, (but I would have to leave at night for fear of all of the creepy spirits lingering in the old items.) Anyways, guess what your girl found? If you guessed a tiny little fur bag, you are the next contestant on the Price is Right. Ok, just kidding, but I did find one!
Isn't she a lovely? It was in wonderful collection, had no odors, and just fit in my hand so perfectly. Oh yeah, did I mention it was only $40. Holler!
Perfect pearls? I think not. These are replicas and very scuffed. These are practically the only pearls that I like. They look a little rough around the edges and not so prissy. At $7, I had to take them.
If only there were only more antique malls around here. Actually, if anyone knows of any local ones, please please please let me know!

Change
The seasons are changing and I suppose I should too. I've always been very safe with my purchases for a few reasons. 1. I like the same thing. As boyfriend says, he could walk in Zara and buy any silk shirt in black or white and I would love it. It's kind of sad, but oh so true. 2. I have a limited budget and I refuse to get into any financial trouble because of clothing. 3. I work in a conservative environment. As much as I would love to wear whatever I want, I can't, because I have a job. Otherwise, problem #2 will become even more of a problem.
On Sunday, boyfriend and I went shopping (he's becoming really great and patient, too!) in Soho. I took a little bit of a leap in some of my purchases. Take a look!
I've never been a mary-jane person. I'm a stiletto girl for life. I also usually only pick up black, nude, or animal print. However, these are so comfortable and very chic. I couldn't resist.
Yep. I got one. A black leather tee. It's gorgeous, instantly luxe, and super BA (badass for those of you out of the loop). I can't wait to wear it with jeans.
Yes, it's a Zara silk button-up! But....it's mint green! That's different!
Everyone knows I love snake print. I loved this because it has a hint of baby blue in it, which is a color I usually don't touch.
How do you think I did? Do you stick to your usual uniform or do you find yourself always craving change?

Some Call It Serendipity
I gave in. Lust got the best of me. Surprisingly it wasn't any of the items I mentioned previously. I was on a mission to take a walk last night, since it was ideal weather and all. Boyfriend/fiance suggested we take a walk to go shopping. I'm such a lucky gal, right?
So we start walking and I notice a new boutique. And shining from the window is the most beautiful bag I've seen in a while. It was boxy, ladylike, and in an exotic print. And you all know how much I love exotics. Luckily I reached the store literally 2 minutes before they were closing and grabbed it. Apparently it was the last and only one they received. EEK!
What do you think? I think I'm in love. Swoon!
