On the day after Thanksgiving, boyfriend and I decided that we wanted to go on a mini roadtrip. It's rare for us to get away since we both work full-time and go to school. The plan was to go to Montauk, a beautiful town at the end of Long Island. However, we got distracted and just spent the day in the Hamptons instead, particularly at
Wolffer Estates. Although I've been there before, it was just as magical this time. For those of you in the New York area, it's only a two-hour drive (Hamptons Jitney and LIRR are also options). It's the most beautiful vineyard I've ever been to and transports you into a completely different environment (and no, I'm not talking about the effects of the alcohol).
The day couldn't have been any better. From crazy car dancing to an unplanned stop at an outlet mall, the day was perfection. The best part? It was being able to spend an entire day uninterrupted with boyfriend.

Those are the best days! We all should remember to do them more often.
