Let's just face it: I have giant hair. It's thick, wavy, and loves to expand. Does it scare me? Hells no. I love it! I love sleeping on it wet and waking to my lion mane. I love that I can try a million looks and I never have to add extensions or hair pieces for special events. This is getting a little braggy, so I'm going to stop my hair love letter.
One of my favorite go-to hairstyles for the summer, other than the
infamous bun, is beach hair. It's sister is sex hair, but come on now, it's a little too intimate and I despise the term. On that note, take a look at the wild mop that is my hair:

Circa 2010 with bang action. |
Yes, most of this work is done while I'm sleeping. The last part of the look is completed with a few key products and a diffuser.
Step 1: Creme!
|
Frederic Fekkai Luscious Curl Creme |
My friend gave this to me as a sample and I fell in love. Put it in wet or damp hair and start your engines, er I mean, hair dryer and diffuser. You will see definition and minimal frizz.
Step 2: Beach it!
|
Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray |
Yes, I know this is a cult favorite, which also means it's also my favorite. I spray some on, tussle my locks, do a little scrunch action, and I
almost look like Gisele.
Step 3: More Fekkai.
I swear this stuff is made with magic potion or virgin tears or something astounding. As soon as I spray it on, I see the curls develop in slow motion. It's equal parts creepy and amazing.
Last step: Diffuse again with your head down. You then flip it over. This allows for maximum volume and lion mane-ness (official term).
My mom's going to be so proud!
Thank you so much for your comment - meant a lot and on a lighter note - hair products that works - love it - that is serious volume you have going there - top tip x
