The Final Hour

While Christmas is a mere two days, it feels like it lasts forever.  Between the holiday treats, the joyous music, and the endless parties, there is no end in sight.  It isn't until the final moments when you actually open the presents that you know it's over, at least for this year.  It's been a whirlwind of excitement this year and I can only look forward to what 2012 might bring.

Hello, everyone!  Merry Christmas!  I hope you are having a wonderful time with your family, friends, and loved ones!  This is a little of what ours is looking like so far!

Tradition

Now that it's finally politically correct to discuss Christmas, I'm going to tell you about a little tradition we started last year.  Boyfriend and I agreed that each year we will exchange an ornament before Christmas to hang on the tree.  I can't wait until we have a tree full of special memories from each year.

About That Time

You know when it starts getting cold, a sea of black emerges, and you start wearing earmuffs?  For me, it's always a sign that the holidays are right around the corner.  With around 50 days until Christmas, it's go time.  I start making my Excel spreadsheet complete with names, gift ideas, and addresses.  And then slowly, my family starts asking me the dreaded question, "What do you want for Christmas?"

Now, before you start thinking I'm a brat for saying that, hear me out.  I love Christmas and I appreciate the thought of friends and family wanting to get me presents.  However, I don't really need anything.  That being said, I know that will not suffice.  So, in order to appease the forementioned family and friends, here is my Christmas lust list.  Do with it what you wish!
