It's that time of year again; the leaves are changing color and falling, the air feels a little more crisp, and school buses roam the road. The changing of seasons always make me giddy and excited for new possibilities. This fall brings about a lot of changes to my life, ones that I was sure would never happen.
1.Marriage-Although the little girl in me dreamed of falling in love, modern society didn't seem to quite like that idea. After atrocious blind dates, bad relationships, and losing faith in the entire male population, it happened: I fell in love. And not only did I fall in love, I managed to pick a really good one.
2. NYFW-This is something I have also dreamed of since I was a little girl. Instead of getting up early on Saturday mornings for cartoons, I would be watching Fashion TV and Fashion File on E!. Seriously, I was a dedicated youngster! Did anyone else watch these shows?
3. Blogging-Albeit a recent endeavor, this is the most rewarding choice I think I've ever made. I started as a creative outlet and to explore new trends. Little did I know that I would make great friends, establish strong business partners, and have experiences I would never imagine. For those of you who follow and comment religiously, thank you. You have no idea how much it means to me. As boyfriend can attest, I literally jump up and down and get a big smile when I get an email notification of a new comment. I have also been lucky not to experience any negative feedback that sometimes comes with expressing yourself.
As you know, NYFW is beginning this week. Please excuse me if I'm not as quick to reply as usual. Tomorrow I will be at the IFB conference at Milk Studios and I'll be sure to be keeping you updated throughout the day on
Twitter (#ifbcon). This also means that Wishful Wednesday will be delayed until next week. For the rest of you attending fashion week, get some rest and stay sane! For those of you just viewing, I'll try to keep you as updated as possible!
