I did something dumb.

I made a pact with boyfriend that I wouldn't shop for the rest of the month of July.  This was dumb for multiple reasons. First being that I said this on July 10.  That still leaves 2/3rds of the month! Secondly it's my birthday month.  I should shop as much as I want during birthday month.

Please don't get mad at him.  I am the one who emphatically created and agreed to this.  I'm hoping I get lots of birthday presents to make up for it!  So for the rest of the month, I will be window shopping and sulking considering my wardrobe pieces carefully.  My latest obsession: SWIMSUITS! Now, I live in Brooklyn.  There aren't many decently clean public pools or beaches to strut my stuff.  Even if there were, I don't really have the time for it.  This is a lifelong problem, but I seem to constantly buy the suckers, even in winter.  Below you'll find my new objects of desire:

I really want the last one for two reasons.

1. It's made out of neoprene, which reminds me of scuba diving. Le sigh...
2. It's very 90s and sexy, with everything still be covered and appropriate.

    To my defense, I already have purchased a new purse, 3 new skirts, 5 skirts, unmentionables, and a super surprise present for myself (that was a pretty penny!)
